Horror-Punk.net is Just me Craig the webmaster of this site putting up all the info I have on Horror and Punk, with the odd contributions from the like minded, if you feel you have some input you'd like to add email me. Here is a very short bit of background for you:I had an obsession from my earliest years with horror movies Poltergiest, American Werewolf in London, The Evil Dead and the othere horror movies of the era,later I had gotten into punk music in my teens so it was only a matter of time till I found out the two had been combined. The rest is history. Once you discover The Misfits you've opened a whole hell hole full of worms that never seems to stop growing.

What Is Horror Punk ?

Horror punk is a dark style of music mixing Gothic and punk rock sounds with morbid imagery. Often, song topics are taken from horror movies, but the best horror punk creates atmosphere by telling tales through the song. It is closely related to an often overlaps with the Death Rock movement; which tends to lean more towards the goth or rockabilly sound - usually excluding hardcore punk and metal bands.
